Green Hound Limited is a small, locally based environmental consultancy. Naomi the director is an Environmental Advisor with 15 years’ experience in the private and public sector with a strong focus on Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management Plans, public consultation, environmentally responsible operations and government liaison. Previous experience ranges from writing oil spill pollution plans for the Falklands first oil development to developing rigorous baseline descriptions of under-described high seas areas in the South Atlantic. Naomi has experience in stakeholder consultation, supporting Premier Oil during the Sea Lion Field development environmental impact assessment review in the Falklands, and she is a certified ISO14001 auditor.

Specialising in biosecurity, Green Hound have developed a detection dog programme to support the Government of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, using specially trained detection dogs to find rodents on vessels to precent reinvasion of the now rodent-free island of South Georgia. We also use these skills to support FIG with regular checks of the Falklands rodent-free National Nature Reserves, and make regular checks on cargoes and vessels travelling to rodent-free islands within the Falklands. We are also able to provide other biosecurity services, such as developing biosecurity plans, incursion response plans and treatments for invasive species.
