As required by the Falkland Islands Constitution and the Public Accounts Committee Ordinance 2009, the PAC carries out investigations into public accounts and the spend of public money to ensure value for money in terms of economy, efficiency and effectiveness, its reports must be made transparent and available to the public. The committee is made up of three lay members (not FIG employees) and two MLAs.
