Waverley Law Limited is based in the Falkland Islands and was founded by local solicitors Alison Inglis and Stirling Harcus.
Our aim is to provide a full range of intelligent and helpful legal services to residents, local companies and overseas enterprises working in the Falkland Islands. We are practical and pragmatic, dedicated to finding the most effective solution to each client's legal issues.
Our strengths include commercial and company law, company secretarial services, land law and conveyancing, employment law, intellectual property, wills and probate. Our solicitors are seasoned advocates, able to provide court representation in criminal, coronial or family matters.
We operate from a pleasant suite of offices in the heart of Stanley at 45 John Street, where we are always happy to welcome clients. However, we recognise that for many people and companies working practices and communication methods are changing, and we are comfortable adapting to our clients' preferences.
Committed to continuous improvement, we strive to offer a dynamic, professional and flexible 'can do' approach.
Our solicitors have 30 years' experience of practising law in the Falkland Islands, and are each regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority. We also have a strong team of paralegals who work with and assist our clients as required.
As a company wholly-owned by Falklands residents, Waverley Law is on the Falkland Islands Local Content Register.
Our philosophy is that every client matters, every problem requires attention, and it is a privilege to practise the profession of law in such a vibrant and forward-looking community.
